Alessandro Usai is Partner and CEO of Colorado film. 
The company is a leading independent producer of films and television. One of the leading Italian talents’ agency (Moviement srl.) is part of the group. 

In his career Alessandro produced more than 15 feature films among which: Io Sono l’Amore (I’m love, 2009) directed by Luca Guadagnino; La Peggior Settimana della mia Vita (2011), Il Peggior Natale della Mia Vita (2012), Soap Opera (2013), Ma Che Bella Sorpresa (2015) all directed by Alessandro Genovesi; Vergine Giurata (Swarn Virgin) and Figlia mia (2018) directed by Laura Bispuri; La Ragazza nella Nebbia (The girl in the Fog) directed by Donato Carrisi.  

He is also Professor of Arts and Cultural Management at the Bocconi University of Milan and at the LUISS School of management on Rome.
He has previously been CEO of Mikado Film, the production and distribution company of the De Agostini Media and Publishing Group (2006-2009), and Managing Director of Cinecittà Holding (2003-2006), the State company responsible for promoting and supporting Italian cinema in Italy and abroad. He was a full time Academic in Business management from 1996 to 2003 at the Bocconi University of Milan. 
Alessandro Usai earned a Business Degree at Bocconi University in Milan and a joint Phd in Business Management at Bologna University and the University of Minnesota.
